Many historians and anthropologists, place India in the category of Greece and Egypt which are said to be the “cradles of ancient civilization”. The manipulation of natural and cultural heritage plays a vital role in the economy of these countries. If the Almighty has enriched India with immense natural beauty and magnificent cultural heritage in abundance, why should it lag behind in exploiting and manipulating these blessings?
Much of the remote and rural life, celestially beautiful nature and the immaculate traditional and cultural heritage still hinge upon the anchor of the glorious past waiting to be explored and manipulated. The potentiality of growth in the remote and rural life, culture and traditions along with the natural gift eagerly awaits the proper care and attention. The exigency of the time is to use these resources in such a way as to facilitate livelihood.
The preservation and revitalization of the glorious past of rural India through the rural youth education and development of rural tourism sector is our sincere endeavor. It is a unique venture of creation of self employment in rural tourism sector and thus bring about the enhancement of living standard of rural Gujarat with special emphasis and attention towards the downtrodden SCs and STs.
